For many years Ruud Nijssen has been one of the champions in the strong Division 2, and this from the speed to the heavy long distance. One of his strongest achievements in the past was winning the 1. Nat. Ace Pigeon Marathon WHZB/TBOTB with his ‘Speedy Bordeaux’. In 2020 NL20-839 ‘Jasmijn’ was born, the grandmother was direct Maarten Huijsmans out of ‘Cees x Super Doutzen’. She flew several first prizes and top listings NPO as a yearling, was noticed by Maarten Huijsmans and moved to the loft in Bergen Op Zoom, where she became a golden breeding mother. The basis of the Ruud Nijssen loft therefore lies with the pigeons of Maarten Huijsmans, obtained through different lofts and successfully crossed from the Gaby Vandenabeel lines, Eric Maas and Stef Bals through Team Golden Birds. Ruud was forced to move from Halsteren and decided to transfer the inspired 2024 youngsters to the new lofts in Steenbergen. EPW now brings the entire breeding and racing team under the hammer.
